NACRMLP is jointly funded by the Government of Nepal (GoN) and the Government of Australia (GoA). Its executing agency is the Ministry of Forest and Soil Conservation (MFSC) and its managing contractor, URS Sustainable Development. The Project works directly with two departments of the MFSC, the Department of Forest (DoF) and the Department of Soil Conservation and Watershed Management (DSCWM) and indirectly with other GoN agencies. At the local level within the districts of Kabhre Palchok and Sindhu Palanchok, the Project works closely with DoF and DSCWM field staff and other projects and agencies working in the field of community resource management.
