Until the sixth phase, Nepal Australia Forestry Project
organised its interactions with local communities at the level of

When NACRMLP began in 2003, however, the Project had
changed its approach: it had selected four corridors of 27 of the
most mature CFUGs for concentrated work. Its motivation was to achieve
the greatest possible consolidation of its achievements and the greatest
degree of institutionalisation.

This
plantation area statement is based on DFO records. CFUG Operational
plan records indicate a total of only around 5,000 ha. NACRMLP is
in the process of checking actual current plantation area
