Peace and Conflict
Analysis

- 1.1 Assist MFSC to undertake a conflict
sensitivity analysis of project activities and approaches

Project handover planning
& implementation

- 2.1 Assist MFSC to prepare and implement
a detailed handover plan in a timely and conflict sensitive
manner
- 2.2 Prepare and implement capacity building
plan to strengthen capacity of MFSC, DFO/DSCO, or other
partners to absorb project assets and responsibilities
- 2.3 Facilitate the handover of project
assets and responsibilities in a phased manner

Project handover management
systems

- 3.1 Facilitate PCC meetings to occur
every 4-6 months to provide overall guidance on exit strategy
- 3.2 Facilitate monthly PMC meetings to
make timely & expedient decisions on exit strategy
policies & approaches
- 3.3 Support & facilitate establishment
& effective functioning of DFCCs to guide transfer
of roles & responsibilities at district level, &
to guide activity consolidation by CFUGs & CDGs
- 3.3.1 Form DFO-led task team to review
experience & documentation of DDC Federation, LFP,
NSCFP, & BISEP-ST related to DFCC establishment, &
develop concept paper
- 3.3.2 National consultation meeting of
DFCC-related projects & agencies
- 3.3.3 Interaction workshop in each district
involving all public, private, & non-government stakeholders
in forest & environment sectors to form the two DFCCs
& executive bodies
- 3.3.3 Exchange visit of DFCC members
& supporting DFO/ DSCO & project staff to established
DFCCs in other project districts
- 3.3.4 District visioning, action planning,
& capacity building workshop in each district

Monitoring, evaluation,
& reporting

- 4.1 Refine the project's M&E framework
and develop a reporting and M&E system geared to managing
the project's handover plan
- 4.2 Develop program & planning reporting
mechanisms/formats to facilitate monitoring of project
activities consistent with MFSC's reporting system
- 4.3 Assist & support implementing
agencies in obtaining and analysing M&E data on results
and impacts
- 4.3.1 Assist DFOs for user group evaluation
and award
- 4.4 Assist implementing agencies to prepare
and dissminate quality mandatory, periodic, and special
reports
- 4.5 Prepare and sumit a quality and timely
project completion report that clearly documents approaches
adopted and lessons learnt during the final stage in handing
over, institutionalising and consolidating Project activities,
approaches, roles, responsibilites and assets
- 4.6 Conduct PCR workshop to communicate
results to key stakeholders and policy makers
