Publications > Publication Archives > NACRMLP > Training Manuals for NACRMLP The NACRLMP builds on and expands on training concepts developed during earlier phases of AusAID's support to the forestry sector. The major support areas of the previous phase (NACRMP) was the capacity building, knowledge and application of participatory action learnings methods and skill transformation of participating stakeholders as well as a local institutions. Mainstreaming gender and social equity into policy, program and process is one of the major focus areas of NACRMLP. The need to include gender and social justice in every aspect of the programme led to the beginning of G&SE mainstreaming activities in training programme. To build on that process, training curriculum and training materials developed by the previous project reviewed from a gender and social equity perspective Revised training curricula from gender and social equity perspective are available in this site. Beside,
to address the second generation issues of community forestry –
good governance, equity and entrepreneurship development project has
use the livelihood planning process (LIP)and entrepreneurship development
within the FUGs to plan and record how they can sustainable gain additional
income and benefits from their community forest(CF) and how the Fug
can mobilise their additional income to poor and disadvantage members
of the FUGs.New training curricula on LIP and Entrepreneurship development
are developed. These manuals are also available in this web site (Manuals
